What Is Carrie 2026 About?
The series follows Carrie White, a socially isolated high-school student who has spent much of her life at home with her mother, Margaret.
After the sudden death of Carrie's father, she is forced to deal with the unfamiliar and often cruel environment of public high school. Her situation becomes more difficult when a bullying incident turns into a viral scandal that spreads throughout the community.
At the same time, Carrie begins to discover mysterious telekinetic powers that emerge as she goes through adolescence.
The new series uses the basic premise of Stephen King's novel while bringing the story into a modern social-media environment.

Is Carrie 2026 a Remake?
