Nani Confirms a New Love Story After Bloody Romeo
While discussing his upcoming projects, Nani revealed that he will take up a new love story after completing Bloody Romeo. He said the film will be something “very sweet and subtle” and suggested that it will be suitable for audiences across age groups.
Nani also spoke about children being among his biggest fans. Since The Paradise was not a film that children could watch in theatres, he said he felt bad about that and indicated that his upcoming project would offer something different.
The new film does not have an official title yet. Nani has also not revealed its complete cast, story or release date.
Bloody Romeo Is Nani's Next Movie
Before starting the new love story, Nani will work on Bloody Romeo, his upcoming collaboration with director Sujeeth.
The film is expected to present Nani in a very different avatar. The actor has revealed that he plays a character connected to both a chef and a gangster, while the film will combine action, humour and a stylish presentation.
Nani said Bloody Romeo will not be as extremely violent as The Paradise. Instead, he described it as a theatrical and stylish film with a fresh approach to its action sequences. Shooting for the movie is yet to begin, according to Nani's latest comments.
The release date of Bloody Romeo has not been announced yet.
The Paradise Has Already Released and Crossed ₹169 Crore Worldwide
Nani's latest film The Paradise released in theatres on September 24, 2026. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the action drama features Nani, Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, Sonali Kulkarni and Mohan Babu.
The film received a mixed audience response, but its box-office performance has remained strong. According to the latest available figures, The Paradise has collected ₹117.13 crore India net and ₹169.15 crore worldwide after 13 days. Its Day 13 India net collection was reported at ₹0.93 crore.
As of October 7, Day 14 collection figures have not yet been reported, so ₹169.15 crore should be treated as the latest available worldwide figure rather than the film's final collection.
Nani's Upcoming Movie Lineup
Nani's recent and upcoming films are taking him through very different genres.
The Paradise brought him into an intense action drama, while Bloody Romeo is expected to combine action with humour and a stylish gangster story. After that, Nani has now confirmed a softer romantic project.
So, his current acting lineup can be viewed as:
The Paradise → Bloody Romeo → New Untitled Love Story
The upcoming love story could therefore mark a noticeable change from the intense roles Nani has recently taken up.
